CO-POWeR: Consortium on Practices for Wellbeing and Resilience in Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic Families and Communities (BAMEFC) As a Co-Investigator, Prof Rai will lead work on Care, Caring and Carers in the Midlands. It will investigates the interaction of care, caring and carers within BAMEFC to investigate how to increase the wellbeing and resilience of older people, and paid and unpaid carers. It builds upon the Commission on Care (2016) and complements UKRI research on keyworkers and household attitudes. Interview transcripts will be used to generate a powerful creative narrative for a theatre production with our partners EGO theatre company, Coventry.
